BA Hons Performing Arts
At 25 years of age, Kieran graduated from university with a 2:1 in Performing Arts Bachelor Honors and has proven himself a successful performer. In dance, he has a range of abilities in Musical Theatre, street and contemporary. He has also trained in Theatre which includes improvising, script work and directing. Kieran is also a coach and gymnastics instructor at the Bedfordshire Bulls cheer team and trains students privately conditioning and gymnastics. Kieran is now a part time manager at Thame Youth Theatre.
BA Hons Performing Arts
At 25 years of age, Holly graduated from university with a 2:1 in Performing Arts Bachelor Honors and has proven herself a successful performer. In dance, she has a range of abilities in Musical Theatre, Jazz and contemporary. She has also trained in Theatre which includes improvising, script work and directing. Holly has taken many LAMDA exams in Musical Theatre and Singing, and is now teaching acting LAMDA. Holly is now a part time teacher at Thame Youth Theatre teaching the Inters and Middies.
BA Hons Film, TV, and Stage
Since a young age, Paige has always been involved in the arts. Her ambition of becoming a director inspired Paige to go to Buckinghamshire New University to study Film, TV and Stage. After university, Paige pursued her passion for working with students in one on one classes and opened her business PNF Drama in works with LAMDA ( London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) This has been a huge success and has seen students fly through the exams with a 100% pass rate. Paige prepares students not only for LAMDA exams but also for drama school, film and TV auditions. Paige is now studying for her Master's degree in Applied Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Paige has been directing at Thame Youth Theatre for 8 years. She currently runs the TYT Company class. This year the Company had the opportunity to work with the National Theatre Connections.
Specialising in youth facilitation and education, Christie graduated top of her class at Birmingham School of Acting in Applied (Dance) Theatre. As part of her business, Contained Creatives, she runs courses and Masterclasses in Dance Theatre, Drama and Technical Theatre. Previous experience includes Pegasus Theatre, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Birmingham School of Acting. Christie is a the facilitator for the Juniors.
Clare trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama wiht a MA in Advanced Theatre Practice. Clare has had over 19 years experience in directing,teaching and facilitating drama for young people. Clare has also taught clases at Roehampton University and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is currently the acting tutor at Arts 1 teaching on the BTec course. During 2004-2009, Clare was the artistic director of her own Theatre Production company: DANTE OR DIE with whom she produced a number of very successful off west end shows. Clare is the teacher of the Seniors here at Thame Youth Theatre.
AISTD, DDI, AAC1
Louise began dancing from the age of 5. She studied many genres of dance and knew at the age of 15 that this was the career she would like to pursue. Louise trained at Margaret Howard Theatre College where she achieved her dance teaching qualifications. Previous to this Louise studied a BTEC National Diploma in Dance where she received triple distinction. Louise is fully qualified with the ISTD to teach and enter students for examinations in Imperial Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance, Tap, Disco Freestyle and Acrobatic Arts. Louise thoroughly enjoyed her training and developing her knowledge of dance.
Louise is always keen to expand her teaching techniques to give her students the best training possible. Louise regularly attends dance courses, workshops and first aid courses to continue to develop her professional training.
Louise also teaches students on a one to one basis and really enjoys working with such passionate and determined students. Louise has always had a passion for dance and the performing arts and hopes to pass on her love and enthusiasm to all of her students.
BA Hons Contemporary Arts Dance
Nicki started dancing at the age of five when she joined the Gail Annette School of Dance.
During her time there, she performed in many shows including getting the chance to dance
in The English National Ballet’s production of Cinderella. After taking GCSE and A-Level
Dance, Nicki went on to train at Manchester Metropolitan University where she gained a BA
Hons Degree in Contemporary Arts Dance. Soon after graduating, Nicki started working at
Lord Williams’s School in Thame, teaching Dance to pupils 11-18 years of age. Whilst there,
she has choreographed for many Dance performances. As well as TYT, she also teaches
freelance from ages two and a half years upwards. Nicki has trained in many styles of dance
(Ballet, Pointe, Character, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary and Latin). Her main passion is
choreography. Notably, she has choreographed Eternal Light and Bliss Pastoral. These
performances had two full scores of classical music, accompanied by a live choir and
orchestra of up to a hundred singers and musicians.
